Megan was born and raised in Lake Country and is currently raising her own family here. Nature, gardening, art, and the outdoors are where she finds her peace, balance and wellness.
She studied Psychology and Social Work at the University of British Columbia (Okanagan Campus) where she graduated with a Master's of Social Work in 2014. She came on board at the LCHPS at the beginning of July, 2015 and has not looked back. One of Megan’s many responsibilities is administering the Better at Home program which supports seniors in living independently in their own homes with non-medical supports. When she is not in the community supporting and meeting with local citizens, she can be found at the LCHPS office, the Health Hub, at 10080 Main Street. She can be reached Mon-Thurs, 9am-3pm at 778-215-5247.
